A Simple Liver Cleanse

The liver is one of the most important organs in the body. It plays a role in 500 vital processes, from digestion to balancing hormones to ridding the body of toxins. Not one of us is immune to environmental toxins and a simple detox program is one of the best ways to remain healthy in today’s world.

My friend Dr. Christian Reichardt recommends a simple cleanse that will boost your energy, brighten your mood, balance your hormones and improve your complexion:

On rising:

Squeeze a lemon into an eight-ounce glass of water and drink. Take 2 Super Colon Cleanse pills — herbal extracts that aid the elimination of toxins from the colon.

Breakfast:

One eight-ounce glass of vegetable juice; or mix a Green Superfood Powder with water or vegetable juice.

Lunch:

One eight-ounce glass of carrot juice or organic apple juice.

Mid-afternoon:

One cup of peppermint or dandelion-root tea.

Dinner:

A cup of cooked brown rice; a cup of steamed, organic veggies; and a glass of mixed vegetable juice or carrot juice.

Before Bed:

Another glass of lemon juice in water. plus 2 Super Colon Cleanse pills.

For best result, Christian recommends to do this program once a week for a month. Some of his patients even opt to do this routine for 3 days in a row and schedule themselves this program for a Friday, Saturday, Sunday as to be able to adjust their activity level accordingly to the effectiveness of the program.
