It is a cloudy rainy day, but I feel sunshine inside. My PMS is gone with the wind, like a passing cloud. If you come to think of it, PMS is indeed like a cloud, temporarily blocking our perception of reality – for a while anyway. The good news is that it will pass, sooner or later. And it seems that the more we are in touch with it and the less we identify with it, the easier it is to let it pass.
From conversations I’ve had, many women blame themselves for having PMS. They identify it as a sign of weakness, inadequacy, or even failure. This happened to me earlier in life.
For many years, I seriously thought there was a demon living inside of me, dying to come out and show the world my true color – the dark side.
This terrified me because I thought I was a pretty decent human being! I didn’t know what to do about it – but resist it as hard as I could.
The unpredictable nature of PMS only made things worse because it would flare up at any moment with no warning at all.
However, the more I resisted it, and the harder I fought it, the stronger hold it seemed to have on me.
Then one day in an “aha moment,” I realized that I might be feeding it by fighting it. That maybe the key was not to “get ride of it,” but to “get in touch with it and manage it.”
I began to track my cycles, making notes on my symptoms, identifying factors that seem to exacerbate them, and record when they flared up.
I researched extensively, looking for an easy-to-use and effective tool to help me do so, but I was left unsatisfied. So I decided to create one for myself – and for other women like me.
This was when Mood Runner Mood & Period Tracker was conceived and born. It has helped me get in touch with my own cycles and symptoms, and uncover solutions that work for me.
Every woman is different. There is really no magic pill that will eliminate PMS all together. We all need to uncover our own patterns and solutions. But hey, what can be more fascinating than learning more about ourselves and discovering our own mysteries! Women, we are fascinating creatures.

I don’t thinki the Mood runner app is available on Android, and not sure when it will be. However, there is an app available on Android which has good reviews – its called Mood Panda – Mood Diary. Try it and let us know how it works out for you.
