Recently I’ve witnessed a lot of big changes around me. Some friends lost their houses, some their jobs, and some are moving across country. In my own life, I left my comfortable consulting career in February of this year to focus on building Cycle Harmony and pursuing my Master’s Degree in Chinese Medicine.
All big changes…
And as the end of the year approaches, I can’t help but wonder if these changes have anything to do with the famous Mayan Prophecy.
According to the Mayan Calendar, this coming winter solstice on December 21 marks the completion of the Great Mayan Cycle. There has been a lot of speculation around what will happen beyond this day. Some believe it marks the end of the world, yet others believe this is only the beginning of a new era.
It’s an important transition for sure. I can feel it, and I’ve been feeling it for a while now.
A lot of destruction and disintegration seem to be happening lately, from our personal lives to the global economies and the earth’s ecological systems – the very world around us.
Disintegration is hard. It takes us out of our comfort zone and forces us to look at things from different perspectives. It also forces us to face and take on new challenges.
On the other hand, disintegration can mean new beginnings – destroying what no longer serves us on our personal path of evolution, so we can build new foundations that are more in alignment with who we are, what is important to us, and what we value the most.
To me, it’s a new beginning. While saying goodbye to a dear friend is difficult and heartbreaking, I remain hopefully that a new chapter is ahead of us. And we shall walk confidently forward, crossing this important threshold into a new era of greater authenticity, harmony and peace…
What are your thoughts on all of this?
My dear Jing! Thank You for the the wisdom and optimism that pouring through this article. I am too a bit sad of the changes that this year brought me at the end, but the same time one wise old man told me on my travels: “The journey is important, not the destination” Hope our journey continues forever:)
I am so grateful that you shared your feelings on this energetic shift that I can also feel. I feel as though I’ve been going through detoxification in all aspects and areas of my life, as well as physically. I feel as though I have let go of many beliefs, tendencies, and habits that were no longer serving me. Some of these energetic cleanses have had me on my knees sobbing but keeping faith through those moments and that eventually I will stop has helped me be here now, stronger. I feel much more grounded and clean, purified spiritually and physically.
I too am getting my Masters in Chinese Medicine! yay!
Thank you for creating this website!
Tyra, thank you for sharing your experience. It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one feeling this energetic shift. Purification is the right word to describe it. I have been doing a set of purifying meditation exercises to help prepare me for the shift. It’s a time of transformation for sure! And we’re the heroines undertaking amazing transformations!
Where are you studying Chinese Medicine? I hope you’ll sign up for a free account and share your knowledge and wisdom with other Cycle Harmony women. Blessings to you!
