Generally I feel that I have a healthy flow of Qi. When I meditate, I often sense that Qi flows easily and freely throughout my organs and meridians. The areas where I sense less fluid Qi flow include my neck and shoulders, liver and armpits. I also sense some tightness around my third chakra area.
I notice that I tend to exert my Qi outwards – toward people and projects. This often leaves me feeling tired and sometimes exhausted. I’m learning to contain my Qi internally in order to maintain a more stable Qi flow. I’d also like to see a more vibrant and vital Qi flow.
Relatively healthy. I have been pretty healthy overall. I’ve never had any serious disease. Nor have I been on any medication. I used to catch colds or flu once or twice a year. But that has been improved in the recent years.
Weakness: I tend to bruise easily and it often leaves scares. I also experience fatigue and irritability during the premenstrual and menstrual periods.
8-9 hours of sleep is ideal for me. I keep a regular sleeping rhythm – going to bed at around 11pm and waking up before 7am. I fall asleep quickly and easily, and often sleep through the night without disturbance.
Weakness: Sometimes I have a lot of dreams during sleep and wake up feeling tired. This situation has been improving recently as I often wake up feeling rested and refreshed.
My digestive system is relatively healthy. I eat a healthy and balanced diet. Additionally I take certain supplements such as fish oils, vitamin b-6, vitamin d, and calcium/magnesium. I go to bathroom regularly and easily.
Weakness: A few times my stools got a bit dry, which caused mild constipation.
Generally I feel optimistic, confident, happy and fulfilled. For the most part I’m focused, productive and centered.
Weakness: My emotional state tends to fluctuate during a given day and during a given menstrual cycle. I tend to feel a bit low at the end of the day say around 5-6pm. Yoga and meditation have been very effective in elevating my energy and moods. I also tend to feel stressed, irritated and easily overwhelmed during premenstrual and menstrual periods. During those times, I monitor my mood closely and try to reduce external or internal stress factors as much as possible.
Strong. I have a strong ability to cope with life’s demands and various responsibilities.
Weakness: Sometimes I tend to stretch myself too thin, overexerting my energy and efforts. I’m learning to stay more balanced and act with more ease and grace.
